Sandra has been working in the finance and investment fields since 2000. Her initial research focused on identifying undervalued companies in many industries including technology, banking, consumer retail, health care, and special situations for a group of mutual funds. She continues to focus her research and investment activities in the biotech, mining, and alternative energy fields, as well as special situations for companies primarily based in China and Latin America. In addition, she consults on business plans for companies entering the Vancouver market. She is a Director of Richco Investors Inc. Sandra has a Bachelor of Commerce, with a specialization in Finance and International Business with a focus on Latin America, from the University of British Columbia and an MBA in Finance from Simon Fraser University. She attained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003 from the CFA Institute at the University of Virginia.
